Racing Roundup

Catch up on Top Line athletes in action!

Top Line athletes have had a great season so far; racing all over the country in triathlons, cycling, and running events. Pictured below is Brent Aucutt who competed at the Ironman 70.3 World Championships in St. George, Utah.  Racing in his first full triathlon season, Brent qualified for the Championships at Ironman 70.3 Lubbock and came away with a great experience, a strong, balanced race, and a negative split run! Brent raced to a time of 5:20:38, placing in the top third of his age group.

Jamie Foster has had an inspiring season so far in 2021! Jamie tackled the Trans North Georgia bikepacking event and then quickly turned around to get ready for Ironman 70.3 Augusta just 5 weeks later. Pictured below (on the right), Jamie completed her first 70.3 in 5:43:33 and placed in the top third of her age group. Jamie is excited to keep training for triathlon after taking a well-deserved break!

Several Top Line athletes have found new types of adventures to conquer in 2021. Jana Redwine Landfried (pictured below and in the purple tank in the second photo) joined a team of runners from all over the country to compete in the Spokane to Sandpoint Relay in Washington State and Idaho at the end of August. Jana came away with three very solid runs spread over a 24 hour period and a renewed love for running!

Coach Nicole (pictured below) got the opportunity to race in the Kerrville Triathlon Festival in Kerrville, TX on September 26th. This race was a bonus for Nik; she had battled a neck injury for two months and was not sure if she could race. It turned out to be a great day and she came away with 2nd overall and top Masters (I am not that old??!!?) athlete in a time of 5:27:33.

Thanks for catching up with us and please check back in soon for more news and racing updates!
